To help streamline the check-in process, we want to offer you some helpful tips:
- Please have your tickets available and ready to be scanned. We recommend increasing the brightness on your phone and adding it to your Apple Wallet or Android Passbook.
- Tickets are available at the door.
- Choose correct line. We don’t like waiting in line either, so check you are in the correct line. They will be clearly sign posted either “Purchasing Tickets at Door” or “I have my Ticket”. Please ask our Odd Staff if you are unsure.
- Ticket time gives you entry into venue on or after that time, not before. This is to keep a steady flow at door, shorter wait times and prevent overcrowding in the venue.
- No backpacks or oversized bags.
- We will need to stamp your hand during check-in. This will help our Odd Staff and Security verify your admission.
Cash or Card
- Most vendors will accept card but it would be a good idea to bring some cash along in case any vendor only accepts cash or is having technical issues.
- There are no ATM’s within walking distance of the venue, please think ahead and bring cash.
- Door tickets sales are card only.

Meraki Craft and I have been together since 2017. During that time, we have happily evolved into what we are today. All of my pieces have been created in my little studio in Edgewater, my happy space, my peaceful place. Macrame Crystal Pockets and Crystal Infused Wall Hangings, Affirmation Keepers, Bead Dangles, Seashell Windchimes, and Spell Jars. Each individual piece has a story. My crystals are ethically sourced, I have spent hours selecting each one, and enjoy complimenting them with individual designs and shades of 100% cotton macrame cord. Seashells are locally collected, jewellery is preloved, repurposed and recreated ~ to be given a new life and loved once again. Spell Jars are created using the traditional recipes and methods of witches from the 16th Century. I am passionate about recycling and repurposing ~ using natural products wherever possible, and creating each piece with Meraki. Stop Being Boring is a dream, a beautiful dream, Janey’s dream… Janey was an amazing human, in her 17 years on Earth she had already inspired so many people with her creativity, her kindness and with her love. If you knew Janey, you were one of the lucky ones. Janey left on the 24th February 2022. She was proud of her art. Before she left, Janey gave us some very specific instructions; “Paint things to match my own, and while you’re at it, commit fraud!” And so, Stop Being Boring was born. A special shop in the heart of Maylands, Western Australia, where we create art and showcase the things that Janey loved and was inspired by. The Art of Austen Mengler
Hey there I'm Austen Mengler - a concept artist, illustrator, graphic novelist and nationally touring comic convention guest & exhibitor from Perth, Western Australia. With 15+ years of entertainment industry experience, I've worked freelance with international clients on a variety of projects. I’ve always loved drawing and creating characters, creatures, monsters from reference & imagination. I studied the special art program while at Applecross SHS, which was also where I first started learning how to make digital artwork on a computer with my first graphics tablet. Then while graduating Curtin University I started taking on freelance work as a concept artist & illustrator on a variety of international freelance projects. It’s been a blast to be able to create artwork for films, video games, album covers, Kickstarter projects, comics, graphic novels & more. Recent and past clients include: Chapter 5 Studios (“The Faceless Man” 2019 horror film.), Pogo (SFX makeup for “Horrorland”), Good Games (Playmat design), Posthuman Studios (Creature Design), Within Destruction (Album Artwork), Rough House Publishing (Comic Colorist), Encounter Table Publishing (Creature Design Illustration), Winterfold (Album Artwork), Ferocious Mind (Album Artwork) & more (see below for full resume). The Garden of Oddities
My name is Indigo, I’m 19 and I create one-of-a-kind nature scenes using preserved butterflies, beetles, and other insects, carefully arranged in domes, frames, and curious objects. Each piece is surrounded by natural Western Australian florals and dried plants, capturing a delicate moment in time many of which are found by myself on my numerous bush walks around Perth and down south Each artwork is crafted with deep respect and admiration for the incredible beauty and life of nature. Cache, also known as The Noir Arts, is a young artist who lives and works in Boorloo ( Perth, Western Australia ).
