Our Story
The Odd Moon Market is a curated handmade market where Local Artisans can showcase their odd, kooky, and sometimes spooky creations. Our goal is to provide a place for the talented artists and makers of Perth, who don’t fit the regular local market mold.
The Odd Moon Market co-founders are themselves purveyors of the weird, odd and kooky. They found themselves not fitting in to the regular local market scene and finding a market that catered for their niche handmade creations almost non existent. This is where the idea for The Odd Moon Market was born.
A night market around the time of the full moon, three or four times a year, that is not just a market, it is an experience.

Moon Creatures, specialises in unique, high-quality, gothic and Victorian inspired insect preservation and taxidermy.
Each piece is meticulously crafted, by combining vintage and handmade ornate frames, whimsical foliage, skulls, crystals and hand sculpted toadstools, to showcase the intricate beauty of nature. The specimens are sustainably sourced from farms across the globe, which are dedicated to their life and preservation.
These delicate creatures go through a process of rehydrating, spreading and pinning to reveal their exquisite features. They are then carefully and thoughtfully placed in a frame or glass dome to be displayed and cherished forever as a timeless art piece.

A unique combination of hedge witchery, alchemy, jewellery & design. Dani is a Witch and Alchemist who’s work is inspired by nature and the energy contained within the materials.
Everything has energy! And this energy guides her hands as she manifests the final look of the piece. Electroforming is amazing process that allows her to turn organic items that would normally breakdown over time into long lasting works of art! If cared for they will last forever!
All products and materials are responsibly and ethically sourced and the majority of her crystals are sourced from right here in Australia. Crystals that cannot be sourced locally are sourced from responsible sellers.
